The Career Navigator service is available to both corporate clients and individuals and aimed at individuals or teams of people who are seeking support in their continuous professional development (CPD), are casualties of a restructuring or right sizing programme or simply at a crossroads and taking stock of the future and identifying how best to deploy their skills and experience going forward. What are the options available?
The generic term is often ‘Outplacement’ but as that is usually associated with the aforementioned 'casualties' of a redundancy or reorganisation, we seek to offer a more bespoke service addressing the needs of a wider audience as described above.
A feature of CFA is our flexibility and ability to bespoke solutions to our clients needs and aspirations. Be it budget or specific requirement(s) we pride ourselves on finding and delivering a mutually acceptable result.
With the advantage of our global associate network we are able to address any need, be it an international multi-location programme involving large numbers or groups of employees we can scale up accordingly.
Our individual programmes are carefully developed to meet individual financial resources. We are very careful to ensure that an appropriate and affordable solution is developed and that precious redundancy or termination payments are preserved and that any such engagement would provide a good value return on investment.

Our outplacement and career transition programmes are specifically tailored according to circumstances and individual needs on a case by case basis. Deploying an appropriate ‘Advising Consultant‘ and utilising both our extensive in house and external resources we are able to help clients to explore, identify and evaluate available and realistic options synonymous with their goals. The Advising Consultant counsels and helps navigate the client to implement effective plans to achieve the defined objectives. Our goal is to leave a legacy with the client that will equip them with sound and valuable career management skills for their continued professional development.
CFA group programmes are designed to furnish employees with the essential tools and abilities needed to realise the benefits of an effective job search campaign. Usually delivered on client site or at a venue in the locality our workshops include but are not limited to, Understanding Yourself, Managing Your Career Search Campaign, The Art of CV Writing, Preparing for the Interview.
Further support can also be provided through one on one coaching. Our interactive group programs equip employees with the key skills they need to conduct an effective job search campaign. Delivered through our office network, onsite at your premises or over the web, our workshop topics include: The Job Market, Transferable Skills, CVs, Identifying Opportunities, Social Media, Managing Your Campaign, Networking, Interview Types and Techniques and Salary Negotiation.

As with the Corporate (Individual) Career Navigator programme the non-corporate engagement offers the same service of developing a specifically tailored solution according to circumstances and individual needs on a case by case basis.
We would deploy an appropriate ‘Advising Consultant’ and utilise both our extensive in house and external resources. In this way we are able to help individual clients to explore, identify and evaluate available and realistic options synonymous with the goals we help you identify or develop.

Specific programme sessions include but are not limited to, Understanding Yourself, Managing Your Career Search Campaign, The Art of CV Writing, Preparing for the Interview. We also provide an Interview Pack which is a permanent record of the events and notes relating to each interview you attend. This is also used to prepare for your meeting and includes a checklist and other useful and essential data.
